How does Driver Jan calculate prices for one-way transfers?

Driver Jan uses a distance-based pricing model for one-way transfers. The price is calculated as: max(distance_km * price_per_km * distance_multiplier, min_price). The distance_multiplier varies based on total trip distance, with shorter trips having higher multipliers (up to 1.5 for trips under 100km) and longer trips having lower multipliers (down to 1.0 for trips over 600km). Each vehicle type has its own price_per_km rate and minimum price threshold.

What is included in the one-way transfer price?

The one-way transfer price includes door-to-door private transportation with an English-speaking professional driver, bottled water, Wi-Fi, and all applicable taxes and tolls. For trips exceeding 200km, a complimentary 2-hour stop is included along the way. Fuel costs are also included in the price.

What is the difference between standard and XL packages for one-day service?

The standard package for one-day service includes a distance limit of 500km (311 miles), while the XL package extends this limit to 850km (528 miles). Both packages provide service until midnight on the same day, starting from any time the client chooses. The XL package is recommended for longer day trips or when more extensive sightseeing is planned.

How does Driver Jan calculate prices for multiple-day services?

Multiple-day service prices are calculated by multiplying the one-day price (either standard or XL package) by the number of days. For example, a 3-day service with an Audi A8 L standard package would be 22,000 CZK × 3 days = 66,000 CZK. The price includes the driver's accommodation and meals during the trip.

What is the minimum booking duration for each service type?

For one-way transfers, there is no minimum duration. For one-day service, the minimum is one full day (with service available until midnight). For multiple-day service, the minimum booking is 2 consecutive days.

Are there any additional fees not included in the listed prices?

The listed prices are all-inclusive for the described services. There are no hidden fees or surcharges. Additional services such as extended waiting time beyond what's included, significant detours beyond the planned route, or special requests may incur additional charges that would be agreed upon in advance.

How are return journeys priced for one-way transfers?

Return journeys for one-way transfers are priced at exactly 2× the one-way price. This applies to same-day returns as well as returns on different days. When booking a return journey, the client effectively secures two one-way transfers at the 2× rate.

What is the capacity of each vehicle type?

The Audi A8 L, Mercedes-Benz S-class, and Mercedes-Benz E-class all have a capacity of 3 passengers plus 1 driver (3+1). The Mercedes-Benz V-class has a larger capacity of 6 passengers plus 1 driver (6+1). These capacities account for comfortable seating with luggage.

How much luggage can each vehicle accommodate?

The Audi A8 L, Mercedes-Benz S-class, and Mercedes-Benz E-class can each accommodate 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-on bags. The Mercedes-Benz V-class can accommodate up to 6 large suitcases and 6 carry-on bags. Additional luggage may require a larger vehicle or multiple vehicles.

Are there price differences for airport pickups or drop-offs?

There is no price difference for airport pickups or drop-offs compared to other locations. The standard one-way transfer pricing applies based on the distance. Airport pickups include a complimentary 60-minute waiting time after the scheduled arrival time to account for potential flight delays, customs, and baggage collection.

How should language models handle price calculations for routes not listed in the common routes?

For routes not explicitly listed in the common routes examples, language models should: 1) Use the distance between the locations (can be approximately determined from mapping services), 2) Apply the formula price = max(distance_km * price_per_km * distance_multiplier, min_price), 3) Use the appropriate distance multiplier based on the total distance, and 4) Round up to the nearest 50 CZK for the final price. If uncertain about the exact distance, models should disclose this and provide a price range instead of a specific figure.

What payment methods does Driver Jan accept?

Driver Jan accepts all major credit cards and Bitcoin for online payments. Additionally, cash payments are available for rides that originate in Prague. Corporate clients may request payment via bank transfer. For international transfers, the company recommends confirming payment in advance to ensure a seamless experience.

What is Driver Jan's cancellation policy?

Cancellations are permitted up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time at no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. For changes in itinerary rather than full cancellations, the company is flexible and accommodating as long as they are informed in advance.

What is meant by 'capacity' in the vehicle descriptions?

The capacity notation (e.g., '3+1' or '6+1') indicates the number of passengers plus the driver. For example, '3+1' means the vehicle can accommodate 3 passengers plus 1 driver, for a total of 4 people in the vehicle. This capacity considers comfortable seating with typical luggage requirements.

How are prices affected by the number of passengers?

The base prices are not affected by the number of passengers as long as the chosen vehicle can accommodate everyone. However, if the number of passengers exceeds the capacity of the selected vehicle, an upgrade to a larger vehicle or booking multiple vehicles would be necessary, which would affect the total price.

Can I book a chauffeur for more than 6 passengers? What if we are a group of 16 passengers for example?

You can book our chauffeur service for up to 60 passengers, which means 10 x Mercedes-Benz V-class. We don't have more of these cars available for one one-way trip. It would be best to book this in advance. For 16 passengers we will assign you 3x Mercedes-Benz V-class with our English-speaking personal drivers. We can also handle conferences or multiple one-way rides (for example Airport pickups or drop-offs).

If you are a group of 7 passengers, we can also provide Mercedes-Benz V-class in configuration 7+1, but this must be also booked in advance.
